The fabulous Le Boutique Bazaar is back just in time for Valentine's Day. Sunday 31st January 2016 at McQueen bar, 55 Tabernacle Street, EC2A 4AA. Loads of unique brands and stalls - latex, lingerie, jewellery, accessories and millinery including Anna Dominoes Millinery. Full bar and DJs make this a destination event!

Anna Dominoes Millinery is proud to be part of a brand new salon concept at 188, Brick Lane. Not Another Salon is a stunningly bright, quirky, bold salon (check out those floor stripes) with a small retail space for independant designer-makers chosen by the Wasted Chic fashion events company, such as Sstutter, D-Jewelsus, Rosa Pietsch. Pop in to try on some hats or jewellery, and maybe accidentally get yourself an amazing new hair colour while you're there.

Before Christmas, esteemed hatters Lock & Co launched their first ever open millinery design competition. The brief was to design a women's hat which would suit a casual day out in London. My 'Vauxhall' hat (named after the area I live in) was one of the 9 shortlisted hats, and the final prize giving was upstairs at the Lock and Co shop on Thursday 26th February. Milliners had attended from all over the UK, and also the US and Japan. We were then whisked away to the launch of London Hat week 2015 at St Cyprian's Church, Marylebone. Congratulation to winner Joanna Zara whose brown felt 'Prospect' hat will be sold as part of the A/W 2015-16 range. You can read more about the event on Lock & Co's facebook page.

Lori's long-running blog is a fantastic mix of feminism, fashion and creativity, with a strong bias towards her specialist subject - underwear!
I'll be at the Blink pop up arts market this Saturday 6th Dec 12-5pm, Earl Haig Hall (Elder Avenue, Crouch End, North London). Lots of unique stalls: cards, Christmas decs, jewellery and of course hats! Free entry and a bar.
